For Sevilla vs Valencia prediction, I say both teams will score and this is why. Sevilla scored and conceded at least one goal in four of their last five friendlies and Valencia scored in each of their last five friendlies, hence there’s a decent chance both teams could get on the scoreboard before the last whistle of the game.
Based on their recent results and meetings, I predict Sevilla vs Valencia would end with under 2.5 goals and this is why. The last two times both teams met in La Liga, both matches ended with under 2.5 goals plus three of Sevilla’s last five friendlies ended with under 2.5 goals and the same for Valencia.
Sevilla underperformed in pre-season, following two defeats and two draws in five friendlies. However, they will look to put their rollercoaster pre-season behind them when they host Valencia, who had a pretty decent pre-season, on Friday. Last season, the Seville side won 2-0 at Valencia and played a 1-1 draw at home and will hope they continue their dominance from last term.
Valencia had a superb pre-season, winning four of their five friendlies. However, they would want to build on their pre-season form when they play as visitors against Sevilla, who took four out of possible six from them last season, on Friday in a bid to start their new season with any result other than a defeat.
