Real Madrid vs Chelsea – UEFA Champions League Quarter-Finals | First leg | Date: Wednesday, 11 April 2023 | Kick-off: 21:00 CET| Venue: Santiago Bernabeu |
Having smashed Barcelona 4-0 away from home, Real are in high spirit to build on that and hosting Chelsea, who are struggling would do just fine for Madrid.
Although four of Real Madrid’s last five matches ended with over 2.5 goals, there’s a chance this game could end with under 2.5 goals because Chelsea don’t score and concede too many goals.
Real sealed a majestic 4-0 win over Barcelona at Nou Camp in the midweek in the Copa del Rey but they will host Villarreal this weekend in the La Liga in a bid to build to extend their winning run before host Chelsea next week in the UCL.
The Blues
Following the sacking of Graham Potters, Chelsea held Liverpool to a goalless draw with a top performance. The Blues will hope to beat Wolves this weekend in a bid to improve their dressing room mood ahead of their trip to Real Madrid on Wednesday.
The Whites: Courtois, Camavinga, Alaba, Militao, Carvajal, Valverde, Kroos, Modric, Junior, Benzema, Rodryo
The Blues: Kepa, James, Fofana, Koulibaly, Cucurella, Chilwell, Kante, Fernandez, Kovacic, Havertz, Felix
Sunday’s game will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu [Madrid].
