Premier League Matchday 16 predictions including Fulham vs Manchester United, Wolves, vs Arsenal, Liverpool vs Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion vs Aston Villa.
Premier League action returns this weekend with a couple of tricky matches but below are predictions for the matchday 16 fixtures.
The Citizens will kick off this weekend’s Premier League games during lunchtime and are increasingly likely to get all three points. Brentford don’t stand a chance but are likely to get on the scoreboard at least. Prediction: 3-1.
Everton succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Leicester City at home while Bournemouth were unlucky after they lost their 3-1 lead at Leeds when they lost the game 4-3 late in the game. Both sides are even, hence expecting an uneventful draw. Prediction 1-1.
This game is tricky. Leicester forced off a comfortable 2-0 win at Everton while West Ham lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace at home when they were the better side. The Hammers wouldn’t want to repeat the same mistake at home to the Foxes, hence expecting an entertaining at the London Stadium. Prediction: 2-1.
Palace won at West Ham last weekend and will want to repeat the same against Nottingham but the Tricky Trees are putting out decent displays of late, hence expecting a tough game at the City Ground. Prediction: 0-1
Spurs always fall short when they come up against a team that are technical and fast under Antonio Conte. Leeds are quick and following their recent performances, I’ve backed the Whites to go against all odds and get the win at full-time. Prediction: 1-2
The Blues are in dire need of redemption. They are winless in their last four league games. Chelsea‘s class remains permanent but they are struggling at the moment. Coming up against in-form Newcastle is a stretch to get a win, hence expecting both sides to share the spoils. Prediction: 1-1
Not sure if Liverpool are back but they won their last three matches across all competitions including impressive wins over Napoli and Tottenham. Playing at home should always be the perfect means to bounce back to top form, plus the Saints are in poor form. Prediction: 3-1.
The Wanderers will try to tempt Arsenal‘s resolves under new boss Julien Lopetegui. However, the Gunners head into the game as the favourites and I’ve backed them to get the win, although it would be a rough ride. Prediction: 1-2.
Brighton will smoke Villa at the Amex Stadium. They won against big sides already and hosting Villa should be a felony. Prediction 3-1.
The last league game until after the World Cup. Man United bounced back to winning ways on Thursday against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. Fulham will be without Aleksandar Mitrović and that’s a blessing in disguise for United. Prediction: 1-3.
