Moldova put up a remarkable 2nd half performance to come back from two goals down and record a 3-2 victory against Poland in the reverse fixture, also their eight points so far show they are not just along for the ride as they look to secure a qualification to the Euro 2024 tournament.
Poland has not really had a great qualifying series, they’ve not really taken advantage of what looked like a straight forward group on paper, having lost three of their five matches so far, scoring six goals and conceding eight. A disappointing 4th position after collecting just six points is where they currently find themselves, only ahead of Faroe Islands in a group with the likes of Moldova and Albania.
