Djokovic finally played some great matches last week. At the Madrid Masters, the Serb was one step away from the final.
Novak certainly expected to play in the decisive match, but he was stopped in the semi-finals by the incredible Carlos Alcaraz Garfia.
The encounter with the Spaniard lasted for three and a half hours. Both played at a high level, but Djokovic made a few bad decisions in the tie-break set (7-6, 5-7, 6-7).
Novak has not won a single tournament yet. The Serb could have done so in Belgrade, but lost in the deciding match to Andrey Rublev.

Aslan Karatsev:
Karatsev has finally won. In the first round of the Rome tournament, he managed to get a strong victory against Lloyd Harris (3-6, 6-3, 7-6). In the deciding set, the South African failed to score a match ball on the tie-break.
In general, Karatsev somehow miraculously got back on track and broke a very unpleasant series of four defeats.
Aslan, as you know, started the year with a title in Sydney, but after that, he lost 10 out of 15 matches. It is difficult to say what happened, but it seems to have something to do with psychology.
