Norway vs Turkey prediction for Saturday’s World Cup qualifier clash at Ullevål Stadion in Oslo. Norway after an easy win in their first match host turkey conquerors of The Netherlands in the first round. Read on for our free prediction and betting tips.
Norway looking for a second win
It was more like a training match for the Norwegian side in the opening match of their World cup campaign in Gibraltar as they won 3-0 with 78% ball possession, 27 goal attempts, 13 shots at goal, tell the story how easy it was for Coach Lars Lagerback and his team.
But it won’t be as easy come Saturday against Turkey. Norway needs to be at its best against the Turks who played a very good tactical game against The Netherlands. Coach Lagerback must be careful of the Turks counter attacks that was the reason for their first win over the Dutch team.
Norway have been unstable in their last matches, Winning two and losing two in their last four games. Having Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard in great form is very important for coach Lagerback as the duo are the backbone of his attacking force.
Turkey to continue their great start
Turkey had a dream start to their World Cup 2022 qualifying campaign after beating The Netherlands in their opening game on Wednesday. This was the Turks’ second home win in five matches after they beat Russia in their last home game in the Nations League.
With this win Turkey made history by becoming the first national team to score three goals against The Netherlands so quickly since 1961. Coach Senol Gunes’s team showed great improvement from their performances in the Nations League where they had one win in six games.
Turkish team’s captain Burak Yilmaz scored a hattrick to guide his team in this crucial win. The Turks were lethal on the counter-attacks as they had just six shots on target and scored four. Gunes will be looking to follow this victory with a good performance in Norway.

Norway vs Turkey Prediction
After winning their opening matches, both of these teams will be looking to add another three points to their tally. Norway had a very easy game in the first round, while Turkey overcame one of the favorites to win the group.
Turkey had a very good defensive performance against a tough Dutch side and if they can maintain that kind of solid defense, we think they can at least get a point off this match.
