Callum Wilson has been in very good form this season, he has scored four goals in seven games played thus far, but what is more impressive is his MPG, he has been scoring a goal every 71 minutes for Newcastle United. Back him to find the back of the net against Burnley to add to his league tally.
A tumultuous start to the season for Newcastle suddenly lit up after their eight nil drubbing of Sheffield United, a game that saw them equal their personal best result and also create a piece of history as the first side to have eight different scorers in a single premier league game. They then followed that up with a victory over Manchester City to progress to the fourth round of the league cup, Eddie Howe’s side will definitely be feeling positive about this game as they look to improve their 8th position on the log, after taking 9 points from their six premier league games so far.
Burnley are yet to record a win on their return to the EPL, after a fantastic championship campaign to earn promotion. Vincent Kompany’s side have not particularly played badly, but are yet to earn a victory and that looks likely to continue here, considering their absolutely poor head to head record against Newcastle, they have no wins in their last nine games against the Magpies (W0, D4, L5). They do have to start winning games if they are going to stay up though, their current 19th position with just one point from six games doesn’t look good at all.
