The first leg of this tie was an entertaining spectacle with Millwall coming out 3-1 winners. Whilst the Lions have the obvious advantage, Phil Parkinson’s side will be confident of turning this around.
The Bantams have no pressure on them going into the second leg whereas Neil Harris’s side have it all to lose. This will give Bradford license to attack and, while they may not get through this tie, you can be confident of them laying siege to Millwall’s goal as they need two just to take it to extra time. This of course means that we should be in for an open game, one where goals are likely.
It is Millwall’s attack that has got them into the playoffs this season and they are the second highest goalscorers in the division. Of course this makes them more vulnerable at the back and you expect Bradford to exploit this.
We saw Derby County nearly come back against Hull City in a similar situation as they felt no pressure. Bradford should take note.
I think over 1.5 goals for Bradford at 19/10 represents good value here.
