Michael Smith and Robert Thornton go head to head in a match neither dare lose. It’s not been a particularly memorable Premier League for either the Thorn or Bully Boy, Thornton averaging just 86.35 and Smith with 90.76.
Smith has the talent to claw himself out of troublesome situations while Thornton has experience. The Scot averaged over 100 in his defeat to James Wade last week in Glasgow, and was pleased with his response to suffering a whitewash against Phil Taylor in Week Six.
