Bookmaker Ratings: Prediction One – Handicap (-6.5) for Swiatek – 2.00.

Bookmaker Ratings: Prediction Two – Total Games Under 18.5 – 1.81.

Match Predict – Handicap (-6.5) games for Swiatek

For Kasatkina, reaching the semi-finals of Roland Garros was a huge success. However, Daria has an uncomfortable opponent ahead, who is in great shape.  Throughout her career, Daria has been failing to play matches against physically powerful opponents, irrespective of the type of surface. Iga is no exception in this respect. Moreover, Iga is excellent on the backhand.

In three head-to-head encounters this year, Swiatek confidently defeated Kasatkina with a difference of not less than seven games.

Preliminary review and match prediction for Iga Swiatek vs Daria Kasatkina

Iga Swiatek:

Swiatek seems to have simply forgotten how to lose. Not so long ago, Iga Swiatek suffered from psychological problems, but now that story is in the past.

Iga has been #1 in women’s tennis for some time now and her reaching the semi-finals of Roland Garros is something to take for granted.

At the current tournament, Swiatek had only one match when she had to get a little nervous. In her fourth-round match against Zheng Qinwen, she lost the first set but eventually got her revenge with a score of 6-7, 6-0, 6-2.

In the quarterfinals, Swiatek, who recently turned 21, had a solid win over Jessica Pegula (6-3. 6-2).

Swiatek’s winning streak now stands at 33 matches. Since 2000, the only two streaks on the women’s tour have been longer – Serena Williams (34 matches) and Venus Williams (35).

Iga Swiatek has beaten 10 top-20 tennis players in her last ten matches.

She has played 14 games on clay this season and has 14 wins.

Daria Kasatkina:

It is now safe to say that Kasatkina is having the best tournament of her career. She reached the semi-finals at the Grand Slam for the first time.

Interestingly enough, she has not lost a single set so far in the course of the tournament.

In the quarterfinals, Daria beat Veronica Kudermetova (6-4, 7-6). It was the first match, in which Kasatkina gave up more than three games per set.
