Derby day humiliation
After Wednesday nights 4-1 defeat at home to Merseyside rivals Liverpool, the pressure is piling on Everton boss Rafa Benitez.
Though not a popular choice to begin with, the start of the season won some Everton fans over, but with Everton dead last in the form table and having lost six of their last seven many fans are calling for a change before the season is truly lost.
Everton haven’t won since late September, and it will take an astronomical performance to get anything out of this game against Arsenal.
? “The team came out to win, we did everything we could. We played well, we created chances and I think we were unlucky.”

Action packed trip to Man United
Arsenal visited Old Trafford on Thursday night and came out 3-2 losers against Manchester United.
In an exciting encounter, Arsenal took the lead thanks to Smith Rowe’s controversial early goal, they were then pegged back before United took the lead, Arsenal then equalised through Martin Odegaard to make things interesting before Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty sealed the points for United.
Arsenal were on a good unbeaten run but have since lost two of their last three, the other one being the 4-0 defeat to Liverpool. This game against the worst form team in the league represents a great chance to get back on track heading towards Christmas.
Everton vs Arsenal predictions
Everton are currently on worse form than winless Newcastle which tells you all you need to know about how far Everton have slid since their excellent start to the season.
Short of ideas in attack and conceding goals at an alarming rate (eight in their last three) we can’t see anything other than an Arsenal victory here.
Arsenal’s goal scoring record away from the Emirates isn’t great overall. Though it is encouraging that most of their away goals have come in their last three matches, we think this game has under 2.5 goals written all over it.
