Back to winning ways
Crystal Palace returned to winning ways, defeating Everton 3-1 after no points from their previous three games.
Chelsea loanee, Conor Gallagher, scored a brace including a 93rd minute goal to ensure all the points would be Palace’s.
Palace have a solid home record and this match will be a good opportunity to carry on gaining some confidence against a Southampton side who have had an awful 2021 away from St Mary’s.

No wins in five
Southampton finds themselves looking over their shoulder in 16th place.
They’re five points clear of trouble, but this is more to do with the sides below them failing to put any sort of decent run together.
Only Wolves and Norwich City have scored fewer than the Saints’ 14 goals so far. Southampton particularly struggle away from home where they have conceded two or more goals in 11 of their last 13 Premier League away matches including the end of last season.
Crystal Palace vs Southampton predictions
Palace will be full of confidence after a good 3-1 win over a struggling Everton side on the weekend and they should be able to carry the momentum through. We predict Palace will win.
The match against Everton saw a much-improved performance in front of goal and given Southampton’s defensive struggles on their travels, we believe this match will have over 2.5 goals in it.

Southampton team news
Willy Caballero made his debut in goal on the weekend after Alex McCarthy and Fraser Forster were both injured, he looks set to continue.
The Saints are also struggling in attack as Che Adams, Adam Armstrong and Armando Broja are all likely to miss out with various injuries.
