Croatia was close to reaching their second final in World Cup.
However, they did not put up much of a fight against Argentina. They played good midfield-based football, but after the first goal, Argentina started to dominate on the pitch until the final whistle.
As for Morocco, they played exceptionally well, but France was extraordinary. For the first time in this World Cup, Morocco took full control of the ball and still could not target on goal.
Now they have a great chance to win bronze medals and become the first African country to do so.
Obviously, it’s going to be a big game; both teams will play to be the 3rd best national team in the world. So it’s not going to be an easy game for Morocco, nor for Croatia.
I will not be surprised to see Luka Modric on a bench. He needs to recover after giving a lot to the national team in this tournament. I’m pretty sure this is going to be his last World Cup game. Of course he will play in this game, and he will give everything to see his country finish third. Everyone remembers that they were runners up four years ago, now they will want to be at least in third place.
As for Morocco, it will be a tough game. But I’m sure, Hakim Ziyech and Achraf Hakimi will do everything to win for the continent, for the Arab world.
My prediction? I see Morocco winning this game 2:0.
