Victories over Nadal and Djokovic at the current Masters in Madrid should give the young Spaniard extra confidence. However, after beating Tsitsipas, I think the German will be able to beat the talented Spaniard.
Almost all of Alcaraz Garfia’s matches at the current Masters in Madrid turned out to be long. Carlos could only win in two sets against Basilashvili. His matches against Norrie, Nadal and Djokovic were three-set matches.
For Alcaraz, who will become world number six next week, the upcoming match will in fact be his third final this week.
In the quarter-finals, Carlos scored a dramatic win over Rafael Nadal (6-2, 1-6, 6-3). Despite an injury in the second set, the 19-year-old spectacularly outplayed Nadal in the 1/4 finals game.

In the semi-finals, Alcaraz stopped Novak Djokovic (6-7, 7-5, 7-6). In a match that lasted three and a half hours, the Serb actually showed very classy tennis, but the Spaniard was even better.
Alcaraz is the only one who has managed to beat Djokovic and Nadal in the same clay tournament.
Carlos defeated Nikoloz Basilashvili (6-3, 7-5) and Cameron Norrie (6-4, 6-7, 6-3) in his opening games at the current tournament.
Alexander Zverev:
Zverev, meanwhile, reached the final at the Madrid Masters for the third time in his career. The German won the tournament in 2018 and 2021.
After a disappointing performance in Munich, where he dropped out after the first match, Zverev is playing almost perfectly this week.

Zverev beat Felix Auger Aliassime in the quarter-finals (6-3, 7-5).
However, the main success for Zverev so far has been his win over Stefanos Tsitsipas. The match against the Greek was a nervous one, as usual, but Alexander dropped only two games in the third set.
Zverev defeated Marin Cilic (4-6, 6-4, 6-4) and Lorenzo Musetti (6-3, 1-0) in his opening games at the current tournament.
