Bookmaker-Ratings expert Emmanuel Adebayor has made his prediction for Monday’s FIFA World Cup Group G match between Cameroon and Serbia.
Cameroon began their 2022 World Cup campaign with a 1-0 loss against Switzerland.
It would be unreasonable to argue that they deserved to lose. Cameroon were unlucky not to score before halftime, given the opportunities given to them. A loss here could see Cameroon go out of the World Cup altogether.
Serbia suffered a 2-0 loss against Brazil in the group stage as well. The first half saw Brazil dominate possession, but the five-time champions struggled to get past their defense. Serbia defended well until the 62nd minute when Richarlison scored his first goal.
Then, Brazil saw the game out with relative ease to claim all three points. Serbia must now win this game and hope that Switzerland will lose against Brazil.
Serbia are physically strong. They play good football tactically.
