Firing blanks
Burnley are winless in their last five with no goals scored in their last three. However, holding West Ham scoreless in their last match was impressive.
This match represents a chance to gain some confidence in front of goal against a side yet to keep a clean sheet. Watford have also conceded the most goals bar Norwich City and Newcastle United.
Burnley could also be boosted by the return of Maxwel Cornet after he came off injured against Newcastle earlier this month.

Leaky Watford
Watford are bottom of the six-game form table with five losses in their last six. Going past the form table Watford have in fact lost eight of their last ten yet still only just find themselves outside of the bottom three.
Watford’s problems lie in defence, Watford have scored in each of their last five games and have scored the most goals out of the sides in imminent danger.
Emmanuel Dennis has scored in four of his last five Premier League matches and Watford will need him to carry this form on if they are to have a chance to get anything out of this one.
Burnley vs Watford predictions
This will be a hard-fought match at the bottom of the table with both sides desperate to record wins. Due to Watford’s defensive frailties but also Dennis’ form in front of goal we believe both sides will score.
We also predict that this one will be a draw. Burnley have drawn over half of their matches so far and have conceded by far the fewest goals out of the bottom four, Watford will score but likely not enough to secure a win.
