Burnley’s aerial presence and sharp shooters
In Burnley’s thrilling 3-3 draw at home versus Crystal Palace, strikers Chris Wood and Maxwel Cornet both got on the scoresheet. Wood scored his second goal in three matches and also his 50th career Premier League goal.
Cornet also scored his second goal in his last three matches in what could be a contender for goal of the month, volleying in James Tarkowski’s flick on from the edge of the box.
However, what may have flown under the radar is Burnley’s aerial presence. No team has scored more than Burnley’s six headed goals this season. Centre back, Ben Mee contributed one of these against Palace, while fellow center back Tarkowski assisted the other two goals with his head.

Conte’s unbeaten league start
New Spurs head coach, Antonio Conte’s comeback win over Leeds makes it an unbeaten start and four points from six.
Though Harry Kane scored in a Europa League loss to Mura, he has failed to score in his last four Premier League matches.
Despite only scoring 11 goals (only Norwich have scored fewer), Spurs could find themselves in the top five with a win and other results going their way.
Burnley vs Tottenham Hotspur predictions
We can’t see there being too many goals in this one, despite Burnley putting three past Palace last week. However, due to most of Burnley’s home and Spurs’ away goals coming in the first half we predict both teams will score in the first half.
Kane has been on a goal drought for much of the season but his good form against Burnley in the past could see him start to remedy that. However, rather than back him to score first we prefer the option and added security of backing Kane to score either the first or last goal.
