Manchester United amidst their injury woes still managed to put up a fight against Bayern Munich in mid-week and should definitely be seeing this as a 3-point opportunity to avoid losing more ground on the pacesetters this season.
Both teams have scored in the last four Manchester United games in all competitions, and this looks a sure thing to continue with their defense yet to find any stability.
This surely wasn’t how Burnley envisaged their season would turn out in the first few games, no wins in five games is not a good start at all (W0, D1, L3), their only point came against Nottingham Forest in their last game, a point that sees them maintain the 19th position in the English Premier league table.
Manchester United are in crisis, or maybe not according to their coach Erik Ten Hag, the signs say otherwise though. Three losses in five games (W2, D0, L3) means they are already nine points behind City rivals Manchester City and seven points below the Champions league spot. United fans are definitely not happy about being 13th in the premier league and even worse is their goal difference of -4. Ten Hag and his boys need improvement and fast.
