Only one of Chelsea’s nine games in all competitions this season has seen over 3.5 goals, and that was a 3-1 loss to West Ham United. Chelsea haven’t really been scoring a lot, just seven goals in their seven games played so far. Burnley aren’t particularly prolific either, having scored six goals in their seven games played.
Burnley got their first win of the premier league season against fellow promoted side Luton Town, a much needed win it was but they still are in the relegation mix despite the win as they have an inferior goal difference compared to Luton Town. Vincent Kompany’s side will be hoping the Luton win is the first of many, but right now they are placed 18th on the table having taken just four points from their first seven games.
