There’s no doubt that Bayern’s squad is much stronger than Benfica’s. In the first leg Bayern quickly took the lead and were looking for a landslide victory. The match ended up finishing with just the one goal scored, a very respectable scoreline from Benfica’s point of view.
I think that Bayern will be keen to kick on in this second leg, they won’t want to leave things til the last minutes of the game like they did against Juventus in the previous round. Benfica need to score, and therefore they will have to attack, and sooner or later Bayern, with the attacking players at their disposal, will surely be able to take advantage on the counter. So, I’m going for a Bayern win tonight, a win that can be more convincing than the one recorded in the home leg.
