Porsche and Formula One team Red Bull have no plans to announce a collaboration this weekend at the World Championship round in Austria, according to journalist Albert Fabrega on his social media accounts.

There will be no announcement about the Porsche this weekend. It is expected that there may be a delay with an official announcement until the Porsche is released to the stock exchanges (late 2022). That said, Honda’s senior management will come to the stage, but meetings with Red Bull will be about a visit to the Suzuka circuit. Honda has no plans to stay in Formula 1 after 2025, wrote Fabrega.

To recap, there have previously been rumors in the press about a possible return of Honda in 2026, including as a factory team. Sources have reported that the Japanese are considering the purchase of Alfa Tauri.
