Changes in F-1 engine regulations have called into question the arrival of Porsche and Audi
The adopted motor regulations are expected to benefit existing motor suppliers. Racingnews365 notes that FIA Sports Secretary General Peter Bayer left his post in May of this year because he was against changes that would play into the hands of current motorists.
The new motor regulations and small changes to the existing ones will be convenient for the current motorists and could be an obstacle for Porsche and Audi, which planned to join Formula 1 in 2026.

The main problem with the new regulations is that the current suppliers of engines will be able to transfer most of the equipment and use it in the future in the new engines, and the new suppliers will have to build a completely new engine in a short time.
