The pilot of the “Red Bull” Sergio Perez admitted that for him it will not be difficult to leave Formula 1 when the time comes.
“I have a contract until 2024, but I can’t imagine ending my career at that point. I’m too young for that, I enjoy racing, even if the sport is time-consuming.
Formula 1 is a whole life, you can’t just drop everything. But in the end, it won’t be hard for me to quit. The best moments of my life have nothing to do with racing. The birth of my children, for example. But even simple things mean a lot to me. I can buy a taco for 20 pesos in Mexico and spend time with my family, and those are the moments you’ll never experience in Formula 1,” Perez is quoted as saying by Bild.
