The head of “Haas” Günter Steiner said that the team is preparing new products for the car, but their appearance is worth waiting for a few more races.

At the same time, Haas does not plan any major upgrades to the car at the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix.

“Usually, it is the Spanish Grand Prix that becomes the stage to which the teams bring the first major updates. And as far as I know, quite a few teams are preparing updates for this race. Although I can’t say to what extent these new items will change the situation in the balance of power, what exactly these teams will bring and how much faster their cars will become.

We decided to wait a little longer with the introduction of new products because I believe that even without our car there is still the potential to add speed. Well, or rather, sometimes we manage to demonstrate this speed on the track, and sometimes not.

We are preparing a good car upgrade package, it will appear in 4-5 races. And I am confident in the effectiveness of these new products. But I can’t say anything about the new products that other teams are preparing,” said Steiner.

After three gruesome seasons, Haas appears to have rediscovered its old form and is again a regular points contender.
