The Arsenal Legend has criticized Marcus Rashford’s poor decision making in front of opportunities after the English man failed to net a goal against Spurs.
According to Thierry Henry, Marcus Rashford went for the wrong pick when choosing how to finish off his strike against Hugo Lloris on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils produced a resounding victory against Tottenham Hotspur with both Bruno Fernandes and Fred booking spots on the score-sheet.
Marcus Rashford was among the players who came close to scoring but sadly couldn’t convert his opportunity as Henry expected him to.
Despite coming off an illness to make a fine impact in the game with his shots forcing saves from Hugo Lloris, Thierry Henry has criticized Rashford for not being clinical enough as he believed a better judgement cold have gotten Rashford on the score-sheet.
Speaking after the game in a conversation with former United defender, Patrick Evra, Henry said; You [Marcus Rashford] open the goal up. Just finish it. Place it, why hard? Side foot, goal. See you later.”
In response to that, Patrice Evra sid,“Not everyone has your brain Thierry.”
Thierry Henry in continuation added. “I know but you have one, use it.”
