Barcelona manager Xavi has spoken out on Bernardo Silva amid the club’s interest in the Manchester City star during this summer transfer window.
Barcelona hosted Manchester City in a charity friendly game on Wednesday, August 24 which was being promoted by Juan Carlos Unzue in awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
The game ended in a 3-3 draw as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay scored for Barca, meanwhile, Julian Alvarez, Cole Palmer and Riyad Mahrez scored for City.
Following the game, Xavi spoke out on Silva.
He said: “Who doesn’t like Bernardo Silva? And De Bruyne, and Haaland… He’s a very important player for City, who makes a difference. I like him, because there are very few like him… But that depends on City.”
