Wolves have started negotiations on bringing the Portuguese professional back to Molineux Stadium after being sacked in 2021.

The 48-year-old enjoyed a very successful spell with the Premier League side, becoming the manager with the best win percentage in the club’s history.

After sacking Brunmo Lager several weeks ago, the Wanderers approached to Sevilla’s former coach Julen Lopetegui, who turned down the club due to family reasons.

Nuno signed a two-year contract with Al-Ittihad in July but currently is tempted by a potential return to England.
