William Saliba has opened up on his future at Arsenal following the club’s win over Tottenham.
Gunners celebrated a 2 – 0 victory over the Premier League rivals in the North London Derby on Sunday. Hugo Lloris’ own goal and Martin Odegaard’s net secured three points for Mikel Arteta’s side versus the Spurs.
After the match, Saliba was asked about his feeling about being a part of the Arsenal team and his possible long-term stay at the Emirates Stadium.
“I am so happy here. The club is speaking with my agent & me, the only thing I can do is [focus on my football]. I am so happy here,” the defender said, via Evening Standard.
Saliba’s current contract with the Gunners expires in the summer of 2024, with an option for a further year.
