Enzo Fernandez was subbed off after just 32 minutes against Newcastle in EFL Cup quarter-final win with an illness.
Chelsea faced the Magpies and celebrated a 4-2 on penalties win after the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Now the Blues prepare to face Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
There is no confirmation yet whether Fernandez will be ready for the game, however, he is currently being assesed.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are 10th in the league table.
