Virgil van Dijk missed Liverpool’s win over Arsenal in the FA Cup 3rd round.

Liverpool faced Arsenal in the FA Cup 3rd round game on Sunday and celebrated a 2-0 win as they qualified for the fourth round.

The Reds will find out their opponent in the FA Cup next round on Monday, January 8.

Virgil van Dijk missed the win over the Gunners on Sunday due to being ill.

Speaking on the defender’s absencee, Klopp said: “Virgil is ill.

“We will see how he feels tomorrow. We need to see if he can make the next one. But today was no chance.”

The Reds now prepare to face Fulham on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in EFL Cup semi final first leg game.
