Ghana sacked their head coach Chris Hughton following their early Africa Cup of Nations 2023 exit on Tuesday.
The Black Stars failed to qualify for the AFCON 2023 round of 16 after finishing third in Group B having played two draws and suffering a defeat in the opening game against Cape Verde, Egypt and Mozambique were also in Group B.
The rumors continue to circle around on the internet of who could replace Hughton at the Black Stars.
One of the names that has been mentioned is Otto Addo. Addo has been a Ghana coach back in 2022.
Meanwhile, former Chelsea star Michael Essien has been linked with an assistant coaching role at Black Stars as he would partner with Addo.
Other names that have been mentioned with technical roles at Ghana are Asamoah Gyan and Adam Kwarasey, who could take on the team manager and goalkeepers’ trainer roles respectively.
Laryea Kingston, who currently is the assistant coach of Ghana Under 17 National Team, has been linked with an assistant coach role at Ghana as well.
