Journalist tried to trick Victor Lindelof into commenting on Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan but the Manchester United defender resisted.
Victor Lindelof has distanced himself from commenting on Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan when asked to weigh in by a Swede journalist.
Ronaldo made several strong claims about Man United in the interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored, which has led to several journalists concluding that the Portuguese star and Manchester United are done with already.
The Portugal skipper said he felt betrayed by the Red Devils and claimed that Erik ten Hag and two or three executives at the club are forcing him out of the club.
Ronaldo also accused the Glazers family of running Manchester United as a marketing club and insisted that the American owners don’t really care about the sporting aspect of the club.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner also made a bold statement when he said he doesn’t respect Erik ten Hag because the Dutch tactician doesn’t respect him but this allegation didn’t go down too well with the majority of the Manchester United fanbase.
Victor Lindelof was asked about what he has to say about the Cristiano Ronaldo interview, he told Fotbollskanal: “I do not know.
“I will not answer that question. You get to take the next question. It’s my decision [not to talk about it].”
