Liverpool midfielder Fabinho hails Casemiro as an ‘experienced player’, who is doing well at Manchester United following his summer arrival from Real Madrid.

Man United lured the Brazil international from Real over the summer to help Erik ten Hag quickly challenge for trophies at Old Trafford.

Following his summer arrival, Casemiro has been nothing short of revelation, thanks to his regular top performances, including his top display that he capped off with a late equaliser at Chelsea in the Premier League.

As a result, the 30-year-old was included in the Brazil squad that will partake in the World Cup in Qatar and will obviously limit whatever playing time Fabinho has pictured in his mind because both of them are competing for the same role.

Despite that, the Liverpool midfielder was unbias in his assessment of the Manchester United midfielder, stating that the former Real man is doing well at the Theatre of Dreams.

Casemiro is an experienced guy, he was very successful at Real Madrid, he is doing well at Manchester United,” Fabinho told GE Globo via MEN.

“Despite being a guy with whom I compete for position, I get along very well, because I’ve played with him, and I know him well.”

Casemiro has one chance to perform at club level before the World Cup when Manchester United face Fulham away from home on Sunday evening in the Premier League.

The Brazilian is expected to start and hopefully, he would finish the game without any fitness issues.
