Chelsea have gone 5 games without a loss while drawing just one and winning the rest following the arrival of Graham Potter.

Mateo Kovacic believes Chelsea have finally rediscovered their form following the twist in management amid Tuchel’s sacked.

Most persons never expected Chelsea to have settled this early following the change in management which saw Potter taking over, the West Londoners have grown stronger than when he inherited the club.

The Blues beat AC Milan for the second time to climb to the top of the Champions League Group E, sitting 1 point ahead of Salzburg.

Speaking to the press, Kovacic shared that Chelsea are now in a better form after starting the Champions League campaign in an unpleasant way under Tuchel.

“We started the Champions League not in the way we wanted, but in the last games we recovered our form and got six points. We’re in a good position and need to continue like that.

“In football, if you work hard, if you get your game right, you can change your situation — which we did very well and now we have to continue like that.

Kovacic went on to hail Mason Mount who was named the Man of the Match at San Siro on Tuesday night.

“Mason Mount has been doing things right for a few years now here at Chelsea,” Kovacic continued. “It’s nothing new from him. Incredible work rate, great game from him and very happy that he’s in good form.”

The English Giants will now focus on finishing at the top of the table by not dropping points until they are sure it’s knockout stages.
