US pundit Alexi Lalas has dropped a verdict on Jesse Marsch’s future following Leeds United’s latest form.
Leeds are struggling with a winless run in the Premier League currently standing at the top of the relegation zone.
The Whites have managed to gain only two points out of the possible 24 in their last eight matches, drawing two and losing six.
Therefore, the former US international believes that Masrch this week could be the last one we see Marsch in charge of the Yorkshire side as the pressure on his shoulder grows day by day.
“Jesse Marsch, yeah, he is under pressure and rightfully so. Not because he is an American coach, but because he is a coach in a situation where they are trying to get somebody that cane steady the ship and keep them in the league.
“I don’t know if and when they were to pull the plug but the shouts when it comes to fans out there have gotten loud. This could be the last week that we see Marsch. Even though Liverpool is not Liverpool of old, it’s still Liverpool.” stated Lalas via Leeds United News.
Leeds are scheduled to head to Liverpool to face Jurgen Klopp’s side at Anfield Stadium on Saturday, October 29.
