Arsenal’s winter signing, Leandro Trossard, has made quite an impression since joining Mikel Arteta’s side in January. Having delivered a sterling performance in the first half of the season at Brighton and Hove Albion, scoring seven goals in 16 league games, the Belgian forward has carried his momentum to the league leaders.

Though Trossard has only managed to hit the back of the net once, he has been instrumental in providing six assists in just 10 league games. His contribution has helped Arsenal bridge an eight-point gap to Manchester City, who are currently in second place.

Trossard recently commented on the team’s chances of winning the league, acknowledging the stiff competition from Manchester City.

However, he also expressed confidence in the squad’s capabilities and track record. With 10 matches remaining in the season, Trossard is keeping a watchful eye on how things will unfold for Arsenal.

Speaking to Keep Up he said “We all know how difficult it is to win the league, looking at Man City and Liverpool in recent years, but I think we have a great squad and that we have proven time and time again that we’re doing well.

“There are 10 matches left, we’ll see where we end once the season finishes.”

In addition to his club duties, Trossard is also set to join the Belgian national side for their upcoming international fixtures, as he looks to replace the already retired Eden Hazard in the team.
