Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold believes his teammate Jordan Henderson is “criminally underrated”.
Henderson has established himself as a key player at Anfield since joining the Reds back in 2011. He helped the team to win eight trophies, including the Champions League and the Premier League.
Alexander-Arnold now claims the 32-year-old is a “natural-born leader”. He has called out to give the midfielder the credit he deserves.
“I think he is criminally underrated as a footballer. He is someone who can influence games. When people think of him, they think about shouting, running and the dirty side of the game,” the defender said.
“But on the ball, he is technically an outstanding footballer. He is a natural-born leader and you can tell it is not forced, it’s completely natural. He brings that intensity to the team, he demands it from people with his aura and shouting.”
