It was a very good week indeed for Laure James, and she fills the first two spots on our list! To start with, she correctly predicted a red card in the Merseyside derby. Ramiro Funes Mori was sent off around the 50th minute mark and it was an easy winner for Laure at a handsome 4.00. Next up was her prediction of a draw between Sunderland and Arsenal on April 24, which duly landed as the sides played out a 0-0 draw. Another very nice winner, this time at odds of 3.80.
It was Gabriele Marcotti who went for Newcastle United +1 goal handicap against Manchester City on Tuesday, April 19. Rafa Benitez’ team had little trouble confirming such a prediction as they secured both a 1:1 draw and a 2.37 winner for Gabriele.
Anna Chakvetadze was right to predict Karolina Pliskova’s win against Ana Ivanovic. The Czech was flying against her opponent (6:4, 6:2) on April 21, and settled a 2.30 winner for Anna.
Last but certainly not least, It was clear to Dmitry Khlestkin that Spartak Moscow and Mordovia would score more than 2.5 goals between them in the Russian Premier League game on April 23. Our editor certainly wasn’t wrong as the two sides played out a 2-2 draw, landing a nice winner for Dmitry.
