The French professional has been linked with PSG exit despite signing a new deal until 2025 earlier this year.

According to the latest reports both in Spain and France, Mbappe wants to leave his current team this January because of the relationship breakdown with the senior management.

Real Madrid are less likely to welcome Mbappe to the their side. Liverpool have been a long-term admirer of the forward, so the transfer to the Premier League would be quite possible.

Amid the latest rumours, Carragher has given his verdict on Mbappe, saying:

“The thing with Mbappe is, I think we all love him as a player, he’s amazing but there too much ego, power for a 23-year-old player – who is one of the best players in the world.”

Former Reds’ star added: “But he is a young player, and I think someone needs to just tell him ‘no’.”
