THREE Liverpool players who could miss the clash vs Aston Villa

Liverpool are set to be without three plays during the clash against Aston Villa on December 26.

The Premier League returns next week as  Jurgen Klopp’s side are heading to Villa Park after the end of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

As of now, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Arthur Melo are the only confirmed absentees for the Reds. However, the Merseysiders could face a surprising injury boost ahead of the clash as Melo might me available to be part of the traveling squad.

Following the surgery the player underwent due to an injury he sustained during the training session, the Brazilian might be in shape to face Unai Emery’s team next Monday.

Speaking to the media recently, the midfielder’s agent has confirmed his client might return to the pitch earlier than expected.

On Boxing Day, Liverpool will be aiming to take all three points to Anfield as they currently sit seven points behind Tottenham who hold the last Champions League position as of now.

The clash is scheduled to take place at Villa Park, 5:30 pm UK time on December 26.
