N’Golo Kante suffered an injury during Chelsea’s draw with Tottenham on Sunday, August 14 in the Premier League.
The Blues played a 2-2 draw with Spurs as Kalidou Koulibaly opened the scoring for Thomas Tuchel’s side in the first half, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg equalized later in the second half.
Reece James put Chelsea ahead again with a goal in the 77th minute, however, the Blues couldn’t celebrate victory as Kane equalized at the dying moments of the game (90+6′).
Towards the end of the match, Kante suffered an injury and was replaced by Conor Gallagher at the 84th minute.
Following the draw, Tuchel provided an update on the midfielder during a press conference.
“He said he feels it pretty strong. So not good news,” said the Chelsea manager.
