Manchester United re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo created the most breathtaking transfer window although things may be turning sour between the two parties now.

However, this still doesn’t change the fact that every single Manchester United fan and board members were impressed by his return to the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo had agreed deal with Manchester City and was on his way to go sign a contract with United’s local rivals until United intercepted his journey at the airport to snatch the deal and every other thing was history.

Announcing his return on their twitter page, saw Manchester United rack up the most liked twitter post in just few minutes to hours.

His return also saw Manchester United stock price take a new high as they as well made more sales in a day on shirts with all being the 37-year-old’s shirts.

In reaction to this record, Ronaldo who recently held an explosive interview with Piers Morgan said on overtaking Lionel Messi’s sales record; “Of course I do [feel happy]. I don’t follow records, the records follow me.”

Leaving Old Trafford this January is now a certain thing for Ronaldo with several clubs already weighing in on the former Real Madrid man.
