The Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr talked about the mood on the team after the first game of the playoff final series against the Boston Celtics (108-120).
“Of course, everybody’s upset right now. The first game is important, you want to go out there and take it. And we had some great chances, we had a 12-point lead before the 4th quarter. The guys are not in the best mood right now, that’s to be expected. But it’s a series until 4 wins.
I’ve got to give credit to Boston. They deserved to win. The opponent played great in the 4th quarter.
We’ll watch the video, we’ll figure out what’s wrong, and where we can improve. It’s just one game,” Kerr said.
Recall, that the Boston Celtics defeated Golden State Warriors (120-108) in Game 1 of the series. The Boston Celtics were down by 12 points after the 3rd quarter. However, they outscored the opponent (40-16) in the fourth quarter and got a win.
“It’s one game. We on to the next one, one game at a time.”
