Chelsea are not ready to give up on centre-back
Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly preparing a world-record bid for Leicester City ace Wesley Fofana.
According to Football London, the Blues are prepared to break the world record for a defender. Chelsea are expected to make a third offer for the Foxes centre-back this week despite seeing a £70million bid rejected.
Meanwhile, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers insists Wesley Fofana and James Maddison remain committed to the team.
“There is always speculation and gossip about players leaving, but I always evaluate the players every day and if their mindset and commitment don’t change then that’s all you want.
“So, yes, both players are very important players for us and I’m looking forward to seeing them play”, Rodgers told to Sky Sport.
