Tottenham star Son Heung-min has sent an emotional message following South Korea’s World Cup game with Portugal.
South Korea made an impressive comeback against Portugal national team to beat them with a score of 2 – 1. Kim Young-gwon and Hwang Hee-chan scored to secure three points for their side.
As a result, the Asian national team are among the 16 countries to book their place in the Round of 16 after finishing second in Group H.
Son was in tears after the game and took to Instagram to share his excitement with the fans.
He wrote: “We didn’t give up and you didn’t giveup on us. We love Korea!”
