Hellas Verona star Cyril Ngonge has revealed his desire to join Arsenal, stating that it has always been his childhood dream.
The young Belgian forward recently showcased his skills by scoring two goals in Verona’s victory over Spezia in the Serie A relegation playoff.
In an interview with TMW, Ngonge expressed his commitment to remaining in Serie A for the upcoming season, emphasizing that relegation was never something he considered. He stated that he came to Verona with a goal in mind and was determined to achieve it.
While he admitted his dream of playing for Arsenal, Ngonge also mentioned that he is currently enjoying his time in Italy and jokingly hinted at the possibility of staying. However, he clarified that his immediate future is certain with Verona as he still has two years left on his contract.
“My future is clear at the moment. I still have two years on my contract with Verona, so I’d say this is it” he said.
