Serie A side Juventus and Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal’s left back Kieran Tierney.

According to recent reports, Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are said to be preparing transfer bids to secure the services of Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney.

The Scottish international has been in competition with new signing Oleksandr Zinchenko at left-back for the Gunners this season, but has seen his playing time limited in recent weeks.

Despite his injury issues during his time at the Emirates Stadium, Tierney has been ever-present in the Arsenal squad this season, making 24 appearances in all competitions and scoring one Europa League goal. However, many of these appearances have come from the bench.

Juventus is said to be in the market for competition and a potential long-term successor for Brazil left-back Alex Sandro, who turned 32 earlier this week. On the other hand, Inter Milan, under the management of Simone Inzaghi, regularly fields a five-player defence, meaning that Tierney could be utilised as more of an attacking outlet if he were to move to San Siro.

It is worth noting that any move for Tierney would come as a surprise, given that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has trusted the former Celtic star to play in an unfamiliar inverted full-back role this season.

It is unclear at this stage whether the Gunners would look to recoup all of the £25 million they paid for Tierney in 2019 or more in any deal.
