In the ever-growing landscape of Saudi Arabian football, several clubs have set their sights on top-tier talent, with the latest name to emerge on the radar being Chelsea’s dynamic winger, Hakim Ziyech.

Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna reports that Al-Nassr, one of Saudi Arabia’s prominent clubs, has expressed a keen interest in acquiring the services of the Moroccan attacking maestro.

It is believed that Ziyech is intrigued by the prospect of teaming up with Cristiano Ronaldo at the illustrious Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium. The Chelsea number 22, who came close to joining Paris Saint-Germain during the previous January transfer window, could potentially follow the footsteps of teammate N’Golo Kanté in seeking a new challenge away from Stamford Bridge.

The recent move of Ballon d’Or holder Karim Benzema to the Saudi Pro League has sent shockwaves through the footballing world. After an impressive 14-year spell at Real Madrid, the French striker chose to embark on a new adventure with Al-Ittihad Club, reportedly signing a staggering contract worth £172 million per season.

Benzema’s decision, coupled with Ronaldo’s earlier move to Saudi Arabia, signifies an ambitious effort from Asian football to challenge the traditional dominance of Western leagues. With these latest reports surfacing, it appears that Hakim Ziyech could become the next high-profile Premier League star to make the shift towards the East.

As the Saudi Pro League continues to attract top talent from around the globe, the potential acquisition of Ziyech would undoubtedly bolster the league’s profile and further solidify its status as an emerging force in the footballing world.
