Sarina Wiegman has named England squad for the upcoming international friendlies.
England’s women national team are preparing for February friendly games and ahead of the fixtures, Sarina Wiegman has named her squad.
The Lionesses will face Austria on February 23 and Italy on February 27, 2024.
England are currently second in the UEFA Women’s nations league League A Group 1 with 12 points, the same as the group leaders Netherlands.
Ahead of the game, Wieman revealed her squad as Leah Williamson was named in it after making her return from a serious knee injury.
Williamson has been a long term injury concern for the Lionesses and she has now returned from ACL injury.
