In the aftermath of Arsenal’s commanding 2-0 victory over Newcastle, Bukayo Saka expressed his unwavering belief that the Gunners are poised to take advantage of any late slip-ups by Manchester City in the title race.

With the Premier League leaders holding only a one-point advantage, despite having a game in hand, Saka remains adamant that Arsenal will not relinquish their pursuit of the title, especially after securing consecutive victories last week.

As Mikel Arteta’s side enters the home stretch with just three matches remaining, starting with a crucial encounter against Brighton on Sunday, Saka is confident that if they manage to win all those fixtures, they could finish the season with a record-breaking 90 points.

Speaking to Evening standard

“We are going to fight until the very end,” affirmed Saka.

“I have complete confidence in our team’s ability to sustain this momentum. Despite enduring a challenging month, we have rebounded with back-to-back wins.”

He continued,

“We will leave no stone unturned in these final three games, dedicating our utmost effort to see where that leaves us at the culmination of the season.”

Reflecting on their arduous clash at Newcastle, Saka highlighted the team’s unwavering commitment throughout the encounter.

“It was a highly intense game. From the first minute until the final whistle in the 96th minute, we left no room for complacency. The significance of the result demanded nothing less.”

Following their upcoming showdown at Emirates Stadium, the Gunners will embark on a trip to face Nottingham Forest before concluding their campaign with a home fixture against Wolves.

As the title race reaches its climax, Arsenal and their talisman Saka will be eagerly monitoring Manchester City’s performances, prepared to capitalize on any potential late stumble that could sway the championship outcome in their favor.
